1. What is collected on this site

Nothing is collected by this site. There is no contact form, no newsletter, no comment section, no account and no tracking script. No cookie is written by these pages, and no file is fetched from another company while you read, which includes fonts, tag managers, video players and social buttons. The fonts are served from this domain for that reason.

No contact form, no analytics cookie and no third-party typography is used anywhere on this site, so this policy has no section governing them. A privacy policy that describes processing which does not happen is as misleading as one that hides processing which does.

2. Hosting logs

The pages are delivered by a hosting provider. Like any web server, it records technical data about requests: the IP address that asked for a page, the address requested, the time, the browser identification string and the response status. These records exist to deliver the pages, to keep the service available and to deal with abuse. They belong to the hosting provider, are not enriched with anything else and are not used here to build a profile of a reader.

Where that data counts as personal data, the lawful basis is the legitimate interest in serving and protecting the site. Retention follows the hosting provider’s own schedule, which is short by design and measured in weeks rather than years.

3. Partner links and the vendor

Links marked “paid link” lead to gohighlevel.com. From that click onwards you are on the vendor’s website, under the vendor’s privacy policy and cookie practices, not under this one. The partner programme records that the visit came from this site so that a commission can be attributed if you subscribe. What that mechanism stores, for how long, and in which country, is described by HighLevel, and it is worth reading before you sign up rather than after.

This site receives no personal data in return. What reaches its operator is an aggregate count of referrals and commissions inside the partner programme, with no name, address or account detail attached.

4. Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation and equivalent United Kingdom law, you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable form and to withdraw consent where processing rests on consent. You also have the right to complain to your national supervisory authority.

Because this site collects nothing, there is in practice nothing here to access, correct, port or erase. A request about the hosting logs is passed to the hosting provider, which holds them. Write to the contact address in the footer and the request will be answered, including when the answer is that no data exists.

5. Children

This is a guide about business software, written for people who run a business. It is not aimed at children and collects no information from anyone, which includes them.

6. Security and changes

The pages are static and carry no script of their own, which removes the most common way a website leaks or is made to leak information about its readers. Pages are served over an encrypted connection. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed absolutely, and nobody honest claims otherwise.

If this policy changes, the change is published on this page. If a future version of the site starts collecting something, that will be stated here before it starts, not discovered afterwards.
